Clean Beauty Roundup: My Favorite Skincare & Makeup ✨

You’ve been dying for clean beauty recs, and I’m so excited to deliver!! 💋

As many of you know, 2023 was a huge year for me and my skin. I’ve truly come such a long way since beginning my journey through healing my acne naturally and I can’t wait to share my favorite products with you. I’ve tried to be super transparent about my skincare journey and have multiple podcast episodes chatting through all of the details in further depth, so be sure to give those a listen too!

This list of favorites is ever-changing, and I’m always on the lookout for new, clean, and high-quality products, so I’ll do my best to update it as I go if that’s something you want to see. As always, please feel free to share any suggestions with me on socials! Now let’s get into some of my faves:

CLEARSTEM Skincare
I’m absolutely obsessed with this entire product line and love the founders, Danielle & Kayleigh! Clearstem is a toxin-free stem cell-backed skincare brand that is anti-acne, anti-aging, gluten-free, cruelty-free, silicone-free, and made with no hormone disruptors. Plus, you can visit their website and take their skin quiz to find which products will work best for your skin type! I love this because it makes your routine so customizable to your needs and takes the guesswork out of building a great skincare routine.

I also had the pleasure of hosting Danielle & Kayleigh on the show, so be sure to check that episode out for a fun chat about all things acne & skincare!

Roccoco Botanicals
Roccoco Botanicals is all about supporting and repairing the skin barrier in a natural, healing way which has been such an important aspect of my skincare routine due to my sensitive and acne-prone skin. All their products are made with carefully sourced and studied ingredients that are super non-irritating and safe for all skin types.

I’ve used so many of their products and loved them all, but I’m especially a huge fan of the pore cleansing oil and harmonizing serum!

Merit Beauty Flush Balm
First of all, I love a cream blush. I love doing minimal and clean makeup looks these days, so I love how cream blush gives you that flush of color while keeping your skin looking dewy and glowy. I especially love this product in particular because it’s formulated without any acne-triggering ingredients & is made with vitamin E to help protect and condition the skin! I’ve tried a few different shades and have really loved them all, so you can’t go wrong with whatever catches your eye.

RMS Sunscreen & Foundation
Huge huge fan of RMS beauty products. They were founded by a long-time makeup artist who wanted to create clean options with healing ingredients, which I think is so great. Each product uses raw, food-grade, organic, wildcrafted, and natural ingredients, which I absolutely love. Two products I constantly have on hand as part of my daily routine are the SuperNatural Radiance Serum Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen and the ReEvolve Natural Finish Liquid Foundation. There are also tons of shades to choose from!

Fenty Beauty Translucent Powder
I’ve actually been using this product for quite some time and was pleasantly surprised to find I didn’t need to swap it out during my acne-healing journey because it’s non-pore-clogging! I use this to set my makeup or retouch as needed and it never makes me look cakey or chalky, which is huge for me because I’m always running around and snapping photos or videos. Definitely love this one for everyday use and especially for longer days when you know you’ll be sitting in your makeup for longer than usual.

Refy Lip Gloss
This is a big one and something I always get asked! I love love the clear gloss by Refy. It’s made with super great, hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, and shea butter for long-lasting moisture, and it never leaves your lips feeling sticky. I used to always just use Aquaphor and often still do, but I love how amazing this gloss looks on, and it’s so long-lasting!

I hope these product recommendations are helpful and give you some ideas on where to look for clean skincare and how to make swaps when you can. I know it can feel overwhelming to transition to clean skincare, but instead of making it this expensive, extensive process, try swapping your products as you finish your old ones. Eventually, you’ll be completely transitioned over and won’t have to stress about making this huge and overwhelming change to do so.

Let me know what other recommendations you’d like me to share, I’ll be sure to share some more of my current faves next week! Recipes? Snacks? Trends? 👀Let me know!
