Stay in your healing era over the holidays with these tips šŸ©µ

Itā€™s that time again. ā„ļøā˜ƒļø Early sunsets, chilly weather and you guessed it, more family time. Some of us thrive, some of us are really just trying to survive (aka, meā€”eek!)

Thereā€™s no doubt the holidays have an overwhelming feel to them. I mean, thereā€™s so much going onā€”mentally, emotionally, financially. I used to really struggle to stay on track with my wellness routine around this time of year and Iā€™d be so hard on myself, which always made things worse. If youā€™re feeling that energy in the air and youā€™re really not looking forward to the holidays, trust meā€”youā€™re not alone. And you donā€™t have to feel this way forever, I promise. šŸ«¶šŸ»

I know there isnā€™t a universal survival guide to breezing through the holidays with ease (if there was, I wouldā€™ve bought it or invented it already), but Iā€™ve been doing this a while now and I do feel like I have a few tricks up my sleeve that make this time of year significantly better. So obviously Iā€™m sharing them with you!! Letā€™s get into them:

šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļøSet some boundaries beforehand
I know this one involves getting deep which can be tough, but itā€™s one of the things I feel has been a true game changer for improving my personal relationships & habits around the holidays. From a mental health standpoint, being honest with yourself about things that might trigger you allows you to come up with a plan beforehand and have the upper hand emotionally which allows you to act with intention, not just react in the moment. When you take the time to ground yourself before hand and decide what you will and will not give your energy to, it becomes much easier to anticipate and maneuver through uncomfortable conversations or interactions and protect your peace altogether.

āœØ Donā€™t be afraid to call a time out
Check in with yourself every few hours, especially if youā€™re noticing feelings of anxiety or overwhelm brewing. Going for a walk, laying down, calling a friend, or reading a few pages of your favorite book even just for a few minutes can help you reset your mental energy and allow you to continue showing up as your best self.

Iā€™m planning on setting one ā€œfocus hourā€ aside for myself every day that Iā€™m around family this year. I love listening to brain.fm, my favorite music platform for when I really need some uninterrupted working time or some relaxation-inducing vibes while I sip on my favorite Pique Chai tea. I always leave these focus sessions so relaxed and grounded + I get the double benefit of sipping on a lilā€™ bevvy that keeps my my skin bright, hydrated, and radiant. If you want to stock up before the holiday seasonā€”you can get a FREE Pique Chai Tea with your qualifying purchase now through November 16thā€”just use this link!!

šŸŒ± Keep the right things consistent
Letā€™s be real, the holidays are major splurge season!! Gifts, nights out, treats, drinks, etc. While I 100% think thereā€™s room for all of these things in our lives, I find that taking a balanced approached makes me truly enjoy and embrace the season instead of feeling controlled by it. So whatever it is that makes you feel good and balancedā€”make sure you keep it on rotation.

You know me and know Iā€™m all about keeping my supplements consistent, so if youā€™re trying to do the same, I highly reccommend getting started with SuppCo. Theyā€™ll analyze your routine (perfect for holiday changes!) and give you personalized tips using their analysis algorithm to help you reach your goals like improved energy, reduced brain fog, gut health, hormonal support and more. Theyā€™ll even send you reminders to take your supps so you can stay on track and never miss a dose!! Whether itā€™s a daily workout, a morning skincare routine, a mediation practiceā€”keeping one or a few wellness practices will work wonders are helping you feel balanced and not totally derailed by the fun & festivities that the holiday season brings.

šŸŽŠ But stay in the moment!!
At the same time Iā€™m a huge advocate for keeping some type of consistent schedule, I also really encourage you to embrace living in the moment this time of year. Ultimately, the holidays can be a truly special time filled with lots of love, memories and joy. Allowing yourself to lean into the special moments and view them from a perspective of appreciation will help you find so much peace in not being able to stick to the plan 100% of the time. Making memories and filling your cup with things that bring you true happiness with people you love and care about is just as important as any wellness routine. šŸ¤Ž

Sending you so much love this season and a reminder that you are strong, capable + so loved!!
